I am assuming that the SprogII will allow you to run one engine using the JMRI builtin throttle?

I believe the Italians also use this for things like safety EPO buttons and the like. And it makes a lot of sense - after all this is the way traffic lights work: -

Roco Z21: DecoderPro not reliable
Hi all!
I just "downgraded" to my Sprog cause I have annoying problems using
JMRI with my Z21.
It happens really often that after writing a CV the system hangs.
The value to write gets red and

Re: Support for higher speed step => lower speed
I'd caution that depending on the code in the decoder, some may not do what
you want when the next speed step is a lower value from the prior speed
step. And I've heard that some will not accept the

Hi Walt,
Yes, that's what I did (except I didn't use the right term for it). Glad to
see I'm not the only one to have run into that little difficulty.

The panel is XML, so that's a form of text. But the big issue in the back of

There¡¯s actually a bunch of complicated code in JMRI to _prevent_ what you want to do. The reason dates back 15 years to some NMRA dicta. It might be time to get past that and add a checkbox to the

Support for higher speed step => lower speed

It seems I want to do something that's not intended, and I'm wondering if
there's a way to do this neatly. I'm trying to use JMRI (decoderpro)
