Mick, I have an older Dell PC that has windows 7 so I am not sure if it will run Java 11 or not. Having trouble identifying what version of Java I currently have. Had JMRI version 5.0 and upgraded last night to 5.2 but understand I must have Java 11 installed so that is where I am.
Walt, thanks for the document on how to use CV¡¯s to identify decoders. I put loco on program track and here is what I got: cv8 is 141, cv7 is 71, cv105 is 1, cv106 is 2, cv253 is 3, cv254 is 2, Cv255 is 9 and Cv 256 is 43.
So not sure if I picked correct decoder identified on DP or not but I selected Tsunami 2 Diesel -TSU-2200 EMD diesels.
