I dont know what the experts do, but when I get a com port error starting JMRI in Windows 10 I edit the com port setting and restart JMRI. When I ignore message and continue to DecoderPro and select a locomotive the following error message appears at bottom of screen: ¡°Service mode program NCE is offline and Operator mode program NCE is offline¡±. I spoke with Ed at NCE today and he said problem is with JMRI and Windows 10. What do I do? When I had Windows 7 Pro, I was able to set up 5 locomotives. ? Thank you, ?
