I was only saying that changing everything towards ON and OFF, might make Masts or Signal Heads a little messy.
So was rather suggesting that we keep it in a way to configure the messages ourselves.
Three published messages: "/Green OFF", "/Red ON", "/Flashing OFF" is not as elegant as a simple "Stop". So I think we should keep the ability to send "Stop". And therefore also allow the sending of "Close" and "Thrown" for Turnouts, and "Active" and "Inactive" for sensors.?
If we don't want to use separators, then we would need separate fields to store the messages for every state.?
[ Way off topic: are we OK with using '<' and '>' when it is saved into the xml file? ]
