JMRI version: 4.13.4 and 4.12
Java version:?1.8.0_171 MacOS: Version 10.13 Digitrax DCS 210 RR-Cirkits Signal LCC and BOD-8 for occupancy detection I'm new to Signal Mast Logic.? I have a layout with that I'm working with to get a better understanding.? My layout has 4 parallel tracks that all end in End Bumpers on either end.? The tracks are interconnected with crossovers.? For now, I'm just testing a Layout Editor panel that has 4 straight blocks ending with End Bumpers.? I have occupancy detection working.? I created the panel, added blocks to the track segments along with sensors for BOD.? I then created Signal Masts for each End Bumper and the three anchor points in between; a mast for each direction east and west.? I'm using N&W 1981 Signal System with Mast Type: Color Light Single Arm Absolute Mast Signal.? The Mast Driver is currently Virtual Mast because I have no hardware at the moment.??I then attached the masts to the End Bumpers and Anchor points appropriately.? I automatically generated signal mast logic pairs and sections.? All seemed to go well.? I can run an engine from end to end and see the the signals working as expected. My problems start when I try to run the engine as an Auto Train with the dispatcher.? I created a transit for going from one end to the other for both directions.? I've assigned the blocks accurate lengths.? I've also created some Logix that detects when the train is only in a single block to use as Stopping Sensors in the sections.? When I create the New Train, I select the transit and the end blocks.? I allocate as far as possible.? I Reverse at End and Run the Train Automatically.? As soon as I click the Create button, I get the blocks allocated, and then the two signals which are indicating Clear ahead of the train go to Stop and I get an exception about the next section not being allocated.? If I open the Signal Logic on the two signals and press the Update Signal Logic, each one returns to clear and the train starts moving.? As it crosses the blocks, they are released in the Dispatcher pain.? When it gets to the end, the train stops, the signals are clear to return the other way and all the blocks are allocated, but the train does not start.? There are no exceptions written. My hope is that the train would continuously run back and forth along this path until I stop it. I've added my panel file to ProblemsBeingWorkedOn/Jack Basiago/Simple Straight Line.xml Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. |
