That is quite correct. Avoid Read/Write All Sheets, there are known issues with possible command overlaps.
Instead (as Tom has said) use?Read/Write Full Sheet on the CVs pane and use Read/Write Changes on Sheet and repeat until none remain to be done. Click on the Status heading in the CV list until it shows a small down arrow (sorts by by Status descending) and avoids scrolling though the list each time.?

The developers are aware of this and are working on it. A workaround that helps is to go to the cvs pane and write changes on sheet from there.
