¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThe Console log was very helpful. The key lines are: 2018-09-11 08:55:16,930 xml.AbstractSerialConnectionConfigXml INFO ?- Starting to connect for "XpressNet" [main] 2018-09-11 08:55:17,258 liusb.LIUSBAdapter ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?INFO ?- COM5 port opened at 57600 baud with DTR: true RTS: true DSR: false CTS: false ?CD: false [main] 2018-09-11 08:55:47,359 lenz.XNetInitializationManager ? ? ? ?WARN ?- Command Station disconnected, or powered down assuming LZ100/LZV100 V3.x [main] The key is that for some reason JMRI cannot talk to your LZV100 on COM port 5. The rest of the symptoms follow from that. Deleting and reinstalling JMRI will do nothing to help this problem. You need to start at first principles: - Go to Windows Device Manager and unplug/replug your USB cable (waiting 30 seconds or so each time). - See what COM port number appears and disappears as you unplug/replug. - If the appearing/disappearing COM port number is not 5, you need to change the setting in JMRI Preferences->Connections to match the actual number that?appears/disappears. -?If the appearing/disappearing?COM port has any error symbols in?Windows Device Manager, you have a driver installation problem. - If there is no appearing/disappearing?COM port,?you have a driver installation problem, or your?23151 interface has a problem. - If all seems well with the COM port tests above, you either have a JMRI connection settings problem or a?23151 or LZV100 has a configuration or hardware problem. After you report back on this, I'll leave this to the LZV100 experts. --? Dave in Australia The New England Convention 2018 On 11 Sep 2018, at 8:14 AM, Peter Ross <peterr@...> wrote:
I had to take a few days off, but having got back things are no better. I have placed a system console file in the Problems Being Worked On folder. I tried to also include a screenshot but that was not permissible. The salient points from that are that along the bottom it says, "Service Mode Programmer Expressnet is Online" and "Operations Mode Programmer is Online". I cannot, however, get the yellow-green Unknown button to change, and the same applies if I open up a throttle. |
