Locked DecoderPro

Gordon Garnhart

Hi,
? ? I have had the software installed for several years, but I never was able to make it work. ?I had trouble identifying the USB port on my computer for the DB150 interface. ?My grandson tried to help me and he deleted the software, expecting to be able to install it again from a disc. ?But I don't have a disc.
? ? I have a desk top computer that is running Windows 10, and has access to the Internet. ?I also have an old laptop computer that is running WindowsXP but does not have access to the Internet. ?The laptop is old but seems to be working OK.
? ? What I plan to do is download the JMRI software onto a thumb drive using the desk top computer, then transfer the thumb drive to the laptop, and install the software on the laptop. ?I don't want to install the software on the desk top computer because it is located in another part of the house, away from my layout.
? ? Will the fact that the desk top is 64 bit architecture, but the laptop is 32?bit architecture be a problem?
? ? What version of DecoderPro should I download?
? ? What procedure should I follow to accomplish the plan?
? ? Thank you.
? ? ? ? Gordon
P.S. I am using Digitrax.
