Update on Dcs240. I went to club and did a firmware update, it did clear up our problem.

What additional equipment needs to be bought to update the 240?? Not sure what you are saying.

Maybe 3 sides (grin). If I buy something from a brick and mortar
or on the net then I could say I wanted the latest firmware. If an eBay
purchase and it wasn't then the seller pays the return. If a brick and
mortar then you would stand at the counter and ask to see if the item
had the latest firmware or you would return it later for a refund. All
these options cost the seller one way or the other. I think we have a
right to POST BUY IMPROVEMENT if they are correcting something that
_didn't work_ with the original purchase.
What I'm saying is that the DCC manufactures need to figure out a
way for us to upgrade without the purchase of additional equipment.
Some do and some don't!
