I found a decommissioned TF4 in my spare decoders and made some tests with two LEDs connected to white and yellow leads.
I confirm that contrary to what Digitrax documentation (both 02/02 and 2010 versions) says, 0 is fastest and 7 is slowest values for CV62.
Actually this had been already discussed in this group ( ).
Moreover I also noticed that:
- CV62 controls the effect rate of BOTH white and yellow outputs. These two outputs are also in opposite phase, and I didn't find a way to change this.
- CV63 seems to produce NO change on anything whatsoever.
I can't read the version of this decoder (no motor load connected). I purchased it in 2009 and it was shipped with the 02/02 version of the documentation.
It might be that Digitrax have made some changes to the decoder firmware since the initial documentation publication.
I'll put a note in the TF4 decoder file and on the function pane to avoid having to raise the point again.
