JAA’s having their board meeting tonight and we’re finalizing the attached tax receipt I was going to send out to all attendees along with the thank you once you guys approved it – please let me know what you think; shorten, change in any way you like. ? Yuji, thank you for taking the lead on the email list, getting donations, making a speech, picking up extra beer, and everything in between. Yuki, thank you coordinating all the details including volunteers, poster printing, logo gathering, donations, getting the Consulate's endorsement, and being so on top of it during the raffle. ? I know I'm missing a ton more that y'all have done, but thank you. ? I think we have few outstanding follow-up items as well. Below are the last results I've seen. Have they changed at all? I think it would be good to include tickets sold / total amount raised / etc for transparency. ? Results: (taken from Yuki's preliminary numbers) -nearly $7,000 raised (final count of online donations to JAA is yet to be determined) -Raffle:?$870 -Venue cost: $1,000 (per Susan's last email. Susan, correct me if I'm wrong). Is Chef Jeff okay with $1,000 only? ? Follow-up Items: -Determine final amount raised (online tickets / raffle / other donations) -Touch base with BPT to see what the net was. How much will go to JAA through PayPal and how much will be paid to JAA with a check from BPT????? -Determine final attendance numbers (~70 ppl) -Determine raffle prize winners (send pictures of winners to sponsors?). See attached for my stab at the final raffle / winners list. Can you please help fill in the blanks? Maki, you started everything up online for us and brought in so many of your friends! ? Emailed thank yous to the volunteers who worked so hard and consulate reps. ?
