Does either display support auto power off? I don’t know if that’s a think but that’s the only way I can think of when the speaker is connected to the display.

Hi Peter - It’s extremely difficult to migrate piecemeal in the way you describe. I don’t recommend it. Additionally, it might actually work out that the kernel extension that caused you problems

I think you're very right ... the panels probably all come from 2 og 3 sources ... so we pay for brand name, design and the physical build of the monitors ... and some do it better that other :-)
