Re: Do any of the Mac Studio port sleep?
Does either display support auto power off? I don¡¯t know if that¡¯s a think but that¡¯s the only way I can think of when the speaker is connected to the display.

Do you ultimately just want to hide the blue light? You could try LED dimming stickers <https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B096TY12T5/macgeekgab-20>.

Re: Seeking recommended 27" monitor
I think you're very right ... the panels probably all come from 2 og 3 sources ... so we pay for brand name, design and the physical build of the monitors ... and some do it better that other :-)

Re: Seeking recommended 27" monitor
Let me quickly tell you a story. My wife decided that she needed a small monitor to attach to her monitor for use at home. She didn¡¯t talk to me about it, she just did some research and ordered one.

How about audio from a website being played by a browser, as described in the OP? I'll have to try this myself. Otto [email protected]> wrote:

Re: another iPad question- music in the background
Audio does not seem to have a standard. I listen to audiobooks with Libby. It is an app to borrow books, similar to borrowing thru a library. It will often play, even when actively using another app

Re: Off the Subject ... an iPad Question
Everything overlaps. Just look at, for example, networking a Mac computer with any other computer, not to mention connecting all sorts of mobile phones and tablets to a Mac via USB or even wifi. AG

Re: Off the Subject ... an iPad Question
When this group was started, in 1994, there were no i-devices other than the Macintosh. /g/iomug Since then, Macintosh user groups have all grown to support all of Apple's i-devices.
