Let me quickly tell you a story.
My wife decided that she needed a small monitor to attach to her monitor for use at home. She didn¡¯t talk to me about it, she just did some research and ordered one.
She told me about it when it was on its way. It was an AOC, which I hadn¡¯t even heard of at the time. I asked her how much it was, and she told me that it was UNDER $100. I was worried that, for the price, that it might not even turn on. How could a nice monitor be under $100, I thought.
The monitor showed up, she hooked it up to her laptop, and¡it was beautiful. I was stunned.
So, I learned that off-brand monitors can be really nice. Not just AOC either. I¡¯ve seen several monitors with unrecognizable brand names that have had beautiful displays. It all depends on where they get their components from, I guess.
