Everything overlaps. Just look at, for example, networking a Mac computer with any other computer, not to mention connecting all sorts of mobile phones and tablets to a Mac via USB or even wifi. AG

When this group was started, in 1994, there were no i-devices other than the Macintosh. /g/iomug Since then, Macintosh user groups have all grown to support all of Apple's i-devices.

another iPad question- music in the background
I can¡¯t figure out how to keep music playing from a browser going when I switch to another application on an iPad. Seems to work if I just go to another tab, but stop if I go to Mail or something.

Steve, If the old iPad isn't outdated, normally all you'll need to do is plug both iPads into their charger just to make sure you don't run low on power, physically place the iPads next to each other

Certainly. When setting up the new iPad, you¡¯ll have the option to transfer data directly from another iPad or from a backup on a computer or in iCloud.
