I do not mean to be rude, but you did not follow Randy¡¯s instructions.?
He said nothing about caches, or passwords. He wrote about Extensions and Settings.?
Yes, you may need to enter a password to enter a web site or two, but you have those in some sort of password manager, correct? If not, go thru the lost password process.?

Thanks so uch Randi.
I wish I knew all this before.
I did delete a lot of the caches but some of them I don¡¯t want to hunt up the passwords to get on the site.
i didn¡¯t do all, there were so many but I¡¯ll come back to them another time.
I did not see that genieo malware at least not yet.
My home page is duckduckgo¡ so I did not touch that.
My big problem is the email boxes I have with . I can sent on webmail and I receive mail but sending from apple mail is not working. I don¡¯t know whiat else to do. I have transferred some people to iCloud now but I still get mail from many people even those I asked to change my email address. ?Things are so much more complicated now.. Most of the problem occurs on my iPhone¡ probably cause it is so old but it was working just fine until recently.Getting a new router and modem did not help and may have made it worse.

Should I just forget about it?
If you are actually infected with Genieo (which is a bit of adware that isn¡¯t malicious), it¡¯s easy to manually get rid of.
? Launch Safari, click on the Safari menu, and choose Preferences.
? Click the Extensions tab. ?Delete all but the extensions that you are 100% sure you installed on purpose. ?If you have any doubts, uninstall them ALL.
? ?Still in Safari Preferences, click on the Privacy tab. Then Click on "Manage Website Data". Click on "Remove All".
? Still in Safari Preferences, click on the General tab, and check that your homepage and default search engine are the ones you want. If not, reset them.
