Re: Off the Subject ... an iPad Question
Have you tried backing up to your iCloud account, then syncing the new device? You nay have to buy additional storage storage for one month. Brent

Re: Off the Subject ... an iPad Question
Steve, If the old iPad isn't outdated, normally all you'll need to do is plug both iPads into their charger just to make sure you don't run low on power, physically place the iPads next to each other

Re: Off the Subject ... an iPad Question
Certainly. When setting up the new iPad, you¡¯ll have the option to transfer data directly from another iPad or from a backup on a computer or in iCloud.

I did exactly as Randy said and it worked - as his advice usually does. Thanks again, Randy!

I do not mean to be rude, but you did not follow Randy¡¯s instructions. He said nothing about caches, or passwords. He wrote about Extensions and Settings. Yes, you may need to enter a password to

Re: upgrade then virus?
Yes, just ignore it. The file is SIP protected, so you won't be able to delete it in any case. As I replied in your other thread, Intego will certainly fix it with an update shortly.

Re: upgrade and virus issue-Maybe
Almost certainly VirusBarrier is seeing something in an XProtect signature file that matches a VB uses. Intego should correct the situation with an update shortly, so ignore it for now.

Re: upgrade then virus?
If you are actually infected with Genieo (which is a bit of adware that isn¡¯t malicious), it¡¯s easy to manually get rid of. ? Launch Safari, click on the Safari menu, and choose Preferences. ?

Re: upgrade then virus?
You could try clicking the magnifying glass in VirusBarrier Scanner to locate the infected file in the Finder and delete it manually from there.
