Re: Receiving and Replying to egroup messages
I use Claris Emailer which doesn't handle HTML and have had no ads, pictures or garbage since the list moved to eGroups. I have to enter the IOMUG address manually though. --------------------------

Try Audion or SoundJam for playing MP3 files. You can find either by doing a search at <http://www.versiontracker.com>. Don't have Napster running in the background. Only use it when you are actively

You mean Adobe Adobe Type Manager? ;-) Reminds me of the old SALT talks - remember those? The Strategic Arms Limitation Talks Talks... and PIN numbers - personal identification number numbers. Sorry -

Re: Digest Number 5
I can help with this part. Under the file menu, choose "Work Offline." You will have to override this setting every time you do mail, but it beats the reconnects. ---Tim Archer Cordoba, Argentina

What would be a good way to allocate more memory to the system software so that it has more breathing space under Mac OS 9 ? I notice that when I have several applications opened, it slows down a bit

MRP's RAMWATCH Memory Vendors
I'm in the market for a 128 or 256 MB memory module for my B&W G3/450. The machine currently has 196 installed, all of it by Apple when I ordered the machine. I truly haven't a clue whether or not the

I've bought from both DMS and OWC on the RAMWatch page with good results. They both sell "2-2-2" memory, which is the fastest kind there is. Nothing I've bought from them has failed. Cheers Roger

Re: Subject: 7200/90 Power PC
Stacey It could very well be Adobe ATM causing the problems on your #1 iMac. You need the latest version of Adobe ATM (4.6.1). Adobe ATM versions earlier than 4.5.2 cause horrible crashes with OS 9.
