It’s a legitimate Apple-delivered feature. Nothing unsafe. Which button are you clicking when the message appears?

Thanks. I turned off continuity/airplay and still got the message. But I haven't turned the computer off yet; maybe that'll help. As long as it's not ransomware or anything.

You Mac may be to old, but mine is a 2020 M1 MBAir (Sequoia) and it doesn’t have ?Continuity Camera either. Under General>AirDrop & Handoff I can turn on AirPlay receiver which will let nearby Apple devices to send video and audio to my Mac with AirPlay. Same thing under a different name?

So which Macs do support Continuity Camera?

Are you asking how to turn off the tips/tutorial messages that became very persistent with iOS 18, I wish I knew. They appear more than once., and on several subjects/ features. ?I think this is what you are asking.?

If you are asking how to turn off Continuity Camera go to Settings> General> Airplay & Continuity> then turn off Continuity Camera. This might turn off the tip.?

My Mac is too old for Airplay, so I can’t test this out.?

That was the extent of the effort required to get it up and running.
