Re: How to CANCEL Gemini?
Clicking on that link gave me a “Thread does not exist” message. More irony. ?

Re: How to CANCEL Gemini?
开云体育Was this something subscribed to through the Apple App store? ?I have a few subscriptions that are managed through my Apple ID, which on my Mac Mini running Sequoia 15.2 is in the main computer Settings, Apple account, Media and Purchases, Subscriptions with a “manage” button to make changes, including cancel. ?My iPhone has a similar section to manage subscriptions, but it is one level up from where it is on the Mac desktop. It is crazy easy to cancel these, by clicking into the desired subscription then hitting “cancel subscription”.If this was separately subscribed to, I am not familiar with the item so have no other suggestions, sorry. How to CANCEL Gemini?
If you happen to know the 'secret' of how do I cancel or unsubscribe my subscription to Gemini I would greatly appreciate it.? I have spent hours searching, Googling all the normal ways in which Gemini is billed, including the in-app 'Settings' at the bottom left there should be a way to manage or cancel but there is no entry to manage or cancel. Even in my Google One account I can see YouTube, but not Gemini. This is really frustrating. If you happen to know any tricks please advise.?

Re: printer incompatibility
Sight unseen - no, you're not. As I was just reminded, we learned to use computers when it was hard. Punch cards, floppy disks, paper tape, and even harder - some of us had to use Selectric typewriters. Sorry I can't recommend a printer because my wonderful ten-year-old $59 Samsung laser, which is still chugging away, has been discontinued. But you want a cheap laser and you want to refill it with cartridges from Amazon. Barbara

开云体育I still like our Brother MFC-L3770CDW Laser. Initial cost might be considered high but?in five years, aside from a cover, we have spent nothing. Continues to work with my mid year 2010 MacBook Pro and the wife’s brand new iPhone Pro Max. We don’t print a lot, still using the original toners, with black nearing empty.? Bob ??

Don't Click Twice
I'm surprised that no one is talking about this hack attack which I learned about reading in Forbes cybersecurity article on Jan 5th here at the following URL:
which may be blocked by a paywall if you don't have a Forbes subscription. I saved off an attached PDF with this post if you are blocked.?
?
As I understand, ClickJacking has been around for quite some time and most browsers have native built in protection for this. The new twist takes this devious hack to the next level, calling it Double ClickJacking. "This entirely new threat surface is exposed by the fact that hackers can trick the user of almost any website and almost any web browser into clicking something without even realizing they are doing it." or if a user is prompted to double-click on a prompt.?
?
iFrames, a window inside or on top of another window, are employed in some of these hacks. Other methods include a variety of diabolical schemes that are very concerning, if true.?
?
The good news however, unless I am misinterpreting the 30,000' view is "the user is asked to double-click on a prompt" is easy enough to avoid. Just never double-click. But is it that simple? I read the article three times but I'm not convinced the Double ClickJacking hack solution of simply never double-clicking.??
?
Is it that simple or does the article imply that the hack threat goes far beyond this simple interpretation??
?
TIA,
John

Note that it's 192.168.*, not 192.169.*, which is a regular routable address block, and 1.* is also a regular routable block (for example one of Cloudflare's DNS servers is at 1.1.1.1). Brian |
