I disagree. If you have a full Time Machine backup of the computer with nothing excluded on a reliable drive, you can safely boot to Recovery, erase your internal drive, reinstall macOS, and restore

? This may sound crazy, but what about using a vacuum cleaner hose attachment to clean out all of the ports. I've never tried it, so I cant say if it would be successful. Just a thought. Marji

The liquid is provided for cleaning the Lightning port, not for drawing lint out of the speaker holes. For the holes, there are tiny bristles designed to fit in them and brush them out.
