I got my iPhone 15 last year. I¡¯d be interesting to see how your wife likes her new 16 in a few months. I like my 15, but there¡¯s a lot of stuff on it that was put on when it was new that I don¡¯t fully understand. It just seems that some technology is more complicated now and answers I need I can¡¯t always find. This group has always been very helpful; yet there are still sometimes things I don¡¯t understand about my phone or my computer for that matter,or some of the fixes that somebody tells me about.?
My brand new Apple Max 16 I got today is still sitting here. I¡¯m not sure I want to tackle it yet until I¡¯ve got the time and energy.

When are you going to get that 16e? Is it out? Will it cost $9000? I've been waiting for it.

We have a couple of old iPhones. I am going to get one iPhone 16e (probably). My question is;
are face recognition & artificial "intelligence" optional? Can they be turned off?

Please, let us not get into a long back and forth about why or why not one should use these services.
Let us first hear from some people who might know the answer to the my actual question.
