It¡¯s unlikely your Mac has any malware. macOS is quite good at protecting you against that. Scamming attempts, while malicious, are necessarily related.

Have you considered a 15¡± MacBook Air? You can get one with 1TB for about $1600. Maybe Best Buy has better deals.

Any opinions on the 16 inch one I am considering. My geek squad cost and warranty will be available as long as I buy new equipment there.
