I have had this NAS disk without a problem for over 15 years. Last week, it died. When I opened the case, I discovered that some components had blown on the LaCie motherboard.?
LaCie, now Seagate, does not supply spare parts.?
So, I checked the Hitachi hard drive by connecting it to my Mac mini 2023. The Mac OS cannot read the files because they are formatted in Linux.?
Is there some software I could install on my Mac mini so I can read and copy the Hitachi drive's content elsewhere?
These are Mac OS files on the NAS drive, but LaCie uses a Linux format on the drive.?
I tried DiskDrill, but it wants to recuperate erased files. I want to recover the actual files on the Hitachi drive.?
This is my first adventure in the Linux world, and I will need detailed instructions.?
