It¡¯s funny that you should ask that, because I was considering putting a symbol next to the apps that I thought were especially good/valuable/popular.
But the more that I thought about it, the more that I realized that I would be putting such a symbol on well over half the apps on the list, making the symbol mostly meaningless.
Apps that I personally love (which doesn¡¯t mean that anyone would else would have the same list):
BGBlitz
Brave
ClipGrab
Clipy
Coconut Battery (but only for my laptops)
Cyberduck
Desktop Icon Manager
DetectX
EasyFind
Encrypto
EnvelopeMagic
FreeOffice (but only for my laptops and support staff)
Mactracker
Maintenance
SeaMonkey (but only for the Composer feature.)
SuperDuper!
Symphytum
VirusBarrier Free Edition
WordService
When I purchase a new Macintosh, I will install all of the above on the new Mac ASAP.
