While this thread has moved on to kinda be about a new topic, I found a way to solve my origibal issue.
Click and hold the Netflix icon on the home screen, select ¡°Remove¡± (not ¡°delete¡±). Click the icon again and it will download a fresh copy of the Netflix app. Click one omre time, and then you can type ind the correct ID and password.?

I haven¡¯t read the whole article. I understand Netflix position to a point, but maybe the price is too high?

Password sharing explained here:?

I must admit I don't understand the "password sharing" paranoia by Netflix. You cannot simultaneously use Netflix on more devices than you created the account for. For example, my own allows four. If I try to watch something on a fifth device while four
others are watching something (not difficult given that we have five iPads and four (soon to be five) phones between us let alone my computers), I see "exceeded limit" and I cannot watch anything on that fifth device until at least one of the other four stops
watching something. However, I didn't use an Apple ID for the Netflix account. I created an e-mail address specifically for Netflix on one of my own domains.
We don't have Apple TV.
If we want anything larger than the iPad or phone as screen, we simply connect it via lightning to HDMI adapter or via USB-C to HDMI adapter to the HDMI input of an actual TV.
