I¡¯m showing off my computer ignorance with this question for sure.
In the old days (even recently) the advice for image editing (Photoshop) was ¡°the more RAM the better¡±. The question I have is, does newer, faster processors like the M2 mean I can get by with less RAM? Or maybe that doesn¡¯t relate at all. Just asking.
My 2013 iMac has 16GB of RAM and I can process image files of 1 - 2 GB in size with out much trouble. I was wondering if I get an M2, can I get by with the base 8GB of RAM or better to get the 16GB model.
