Re: LO off QRG
Steve, I'm using a cheap BNC to "Mini Test Clip" 50 ohm coax cable.? Similar to this: https://a.co/d/5stAcq1 You're right in that I probably was getting reflections -- that would make sense --

Re: LO off QRG
Nick, At 124 MHz it is important to keep a relatively constant impedance path from P4 to the counter.? My 8924C has 50 ohm inputs and I used a 50 ohm 500 MHz rated scope probe, with a short barrel

Re: LO off QRG
Hi Steve, I'm using a Aim-TTI TF930 to measure P4.? I just received the counter on Tuesday and was wanting to verify my REF OSC on my 7000.? In recent weeks, I noticed it was way off on USB/LSB

Looks great with a small (7-10 inch) TV sets such as those from Sharper Image and others (what I use with my go-box) DC operated and uses the same power source as your radio. I have a USB charging

Re: connecting external monitor
Just be aware..going much larger than 7" and the resolution will be unacceptable. I connected to a standard 15" and it looks pretty blocky.

Re: connecting external monitor
Connecting to an existing in car monitor is probably a hands on research project. Really to broad of a question to answer here. You would need for the monitor to have a composite video signal jack

This assumes Darrell has or has access to a monitor that has the YELLOW composite video jack...? Without one of those, he would need the device to convert Composite Video to HDMI or VGA... 73 Dallas
