Re: Mystery Bootscreen Firmware?
Hi, If that? TV related bootscreen message is categorized as an 'Opening Message' then it should be able to be deactivated by the following : Press AF knob momentarily to enter Set mode. Press 'F2' (DISP) to go to Display set mode. Use F1/F2 to scroll to option 20 - 'Opening Message' Rotate Tune knob to select Opening Message 'OFF' May or may not work for that particular issue and would obviously result in no opening message at all. Re: Mystery Bootscreen Firmware?
开云体育The USA units were never activated for analog TV due to some federal requirement not being met.? I activated mine by removing a diode, but I never saw that screen. ? I believe they were shipped able to receive the NTSC format.? The document that was just posted to change the unit to PAL was very interesting. ? However, it receives analog TV channels, so not of much use anymore. ? When you clear the blue screen, does it go to a frequency screen or TV?? If it goes to TV, then do a long press on one of the knobs on the left of the radio (I forget which one) to get you off the TV.? Reboot and see if the blue screen is still there. ? ‘73 de Jim N2ZZ ? Re: Mystery Bootscreen Firmware?
开云体育AFAIK It’s a hardware mod to have it available. ?Did you just get the radio or did a firmware upgrade start this? ?

Selecting Icom 7000 Memory Channels
Gene Smith - K7HPF
I'm able to stick the +- dup & fm tone in the memory of the A bank, then name it and save it and
I can select a memory channel with the microphone.
?
BUT...
?
When I want to select different memory channels by depressing the PBT knob and rotating the inner knob,
DEPRESSING THE PBT KNOB CHANGES THE MEMORY BANK.
?
Am I missing a step?
