Re: [IC-7000] Selling the IC7000
Ditto. Don't care for the monochrome touch screen.
Complete mobile kit for the 7000 is $100. Bracket itself is $35, iirc.

Re: [IC-7000] Selling the IC7000
My guess is the price is being driven by the IC-7100?
As for me I will buy a 2nd 7K before going to a 7100. Love the composite
video output. Far better screen when mobile.
I don't understand the

Re: [IC-7000] Selling the IC7000
Obviously you can ask any price you feel you need. The separation kit is often bundled at no charge by retailers. From a buyers' perspective, the price of a used radio should be discounted for the

Re: [IC-7000] Selling the IC7000
I don't think I'd take less than $1.1K for mine, especially since it is
mint condx, with separation kit, and IT-100 tuner. Just took it off the
shelf yesterday and put it back on the air for testing,

Re: [IC-7000] Selling the IC7000
I have seen a 7000 here on the group, with lots of accessories and mint
condition, asking $900. Which seemed very fair to me. Don't know what it
actually sold for.

was like new. Also included a seperation kit, never opened. Came from an

Selling the IC7000
What is a going sale price for an IC7000 with mobile bracket. Mint. Never
mobile and non-smoker. Only used on 2 meter SSB/FM. No mods what so ever.

Thanks for your input everyone! I checked the shack and it was 28 degrees
even after all the wind and near zero temperatures we have had lately so it
seems to be holding up pretty well. I did turn on

Re: Finals idle current adjustment - does it sounds like my 2m finals are blown?
Steve,
thank you for the suggestion. I did check the voltage on the gate of the 144M MOSFET and it did vary as I turned the knob, the the supply current didn't change.
I have now ordered

Re: [IC-7000] VFO or Memory
Memories are very handy for storing repeater frequencies, because you can store frequency, offset, tone/DCS, etc in the memory, add an alphanumeric label (e.g. the repeater callsign), and have that
