If you wish to program a particular frequency you need to enter the freq?using "VFO", including all the parameters: Tone (if any), split (if any), Power, etc. Then follow?the instructions in the manual.

I don't use memory much but now want to enter a frequency into the ICOM 7000. As you all know there are 2 options (probably more); VFO or Memory. What is the difference between the two and where or how is the best way to enter just a few frequencies? Thank you.
