Re: FT8

Pete,

I have used my IC7000 for many years running WSJT-X in the FT8 mode and prior to that in the JT65 and JT9 modes without any issues. I run the IC7000 between 75 and 90 W for these modes.??

I use a USB to CIV converter for rig control and send/receive audio?between the computer and IC7000 via the 13 pin DIN plug on the back of the IC7000.? ?The audio out of the IC7000 goes into the computer's microphone input and the headphone output from the computer goes into the IC7000 audio in.

PTT is handled via CAT in WSJTX

Mode is USB in WSJTX

Split Operation is Fake It in WSJTX
?
The use of a Signalink is not required.

Good luck,

Robie AJ4F
