Ditto.? My 7000 is my full time portable/RV radio and I nearly always use an EFHWA when camping.? I select the wire length to cover bands I want to use with the feed xfmr, I never use a tuner.? I learned years ago operating QRP/P that a tuner is just one more box to carry and futz with.? Much more convenient to select and deploy antennas that don't need a tuner.
