Still running my IC-7000 in the car in typical Chicago winters....for over 6 years now..? with turbo tuner and tar hell antenna...
No issues aside from replacing the inline fuse holders with a in line circuit breaker ( from audio high power versions) .
Still the best radio for mobile use.
