If the noise gets louder with the expression pedal it's definitely not the power transistors. Do any other controls affect the noise? Volume soft, Brilliance, Vibrato, Rhythm Volume? A common cause of noise on the T-500 is the edge connector on the auto-acc. board. The one on top of the generator shelf at your right as you look in the back, see if moving the connector slightly makes any difference. Chris Clifton There is a theory which states that if anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
