Re: [hammond_zone] Leslie speaker question
Big G, Or, you can leave your DXR20 hooked up to the A (to provide B+ voltage), and ADD the Leslie of your choice, and select either or both with a classic half-moon Echo switch! BCV-KG

Re: [hammond_zone] Leslie speaker question
Marcus, No, in this case, a Model A is just an A. George has the real deal: the ORIGINAL Hammond organ. A piece of history from the mid 30's that Laurens Hammond probably inspected himself, before it

Re: [hammond_zone] BV question
Raul, You're welcome...or, sorry! (I'm sure your wife wants to shoot me right about now!) :>) One thing I think I might like to do is add a (gasp!) digital reverb to my BCV. I want cathedral-like slap

Re: [hammond_zone] foldback 2
Here is another thought. I spoke to this guy lately who told me how simple it was to add foldback. He said I should just wire the notes from an existing contact to a new contact were the note als

Chris, I have a l100 and I am very plaesed with the way it sounds on full volume. However more overdrive could be usefull once in a while. Where do I find that ''choke of the 12bh7 in the reverb drive

Comon Grounds
It's nice to see that we all have some mutual intrests. But really guys 138 kV and 335 Kv. That's all transmission stuff. I worked distribution 46 kV and down. No space in the back yard for those tubs

Re: [hammond_zone] Dirt at lower leves WAS Re: BV question
Ouch, Chris!! I said a "little", mate! With that setup, I'd better put zippers around the driver frames! but, no 12BH7, here. This is that little, stinky reverb designed by Packard-Bell. Uses a 6GW8

Re: [hammond_zone] Dirt at lower leves WAS Re: BV question
If you want real good diode/class B distortion, get an L-100 and disconnect the choke from the anode of the 12BH7 in the reverb drive circuit. With no anode load the grid and cathode of the 12BH7 act

Dirt at lower leves WAS Re: BV question
Raul, hi mate Yes I agree it can be done HOWEVER IMHO I fear diode-like class B will sound terribly harsh. IMHO you'll be better off pushing bias substantially zerowards (ie class A) and then a diddly
