As concern the italian prog scene,
I'd like remeber you that the most real and genuine prog was performed by other superb bands.Obviously PFM and BANCO were the most famous and celebrated bands, but this particoular explosion of instrumental tecnique was able to produce a pletora of other great and,in my opinion,most creative musicians during the early 70'es...try to share or buy,if you're lucky, some works by Balletto di Bronzo,Area,Osanna,Biglietto per l'inferno and Trip.A curiosity:in this band from Turin,where I live,in his first period played on guitar an unknown guy called...Ritchie Blackmore)
You'll heard the Hammond singin' hidden or cryin' when the hands will be on full overdrive :)
