BLACK ANODIZED NOVA MOUNT
In 2016, I came across a Nova mount for sale on Astromart and contacted Charles Riddel for his opinion on its suitability for my TAK 102, and he highly recommended it. I later upgraded to a TAK TSA 120. The mount is nothing short of incredible. I did mention to Charles that I thought the black finish was much prettier than the aluminum finish, and he said that in 2012, he found he could no longer economically manufacture the black anodized mounts because no one was doing this, and the costs had skyrocketed.
Later, I was told by Derek Wong, the gentleman I purchased the mount from, that only three had been made in black.? Does anyone know whether or not this is true. I regret never having got back with Charles.

Does anyone have a spare metal FTX telescoping handle?
Looking to replace the wooden handle on my FTQ with the metal telescoping handle for a more compact mount. Does anyone happen to have an extra that I can shake loose? Willing to purchase or trade the wooden handle + cash.
