It’s in excellent condition with some signs of wear as shown in the photos. I’m the original owner. It held without issues my 80mm f/6 apo, 115mm f/7 apo, 102mm f9.8 achro, and a C8 at various times during my ownership. A good friend of mine uses his FTX to carry an Astro-Physics 130 GTX. This is an amazing mount for its size and weight and has been part of my grab-n-go equipment since purchase in 2017. I’m selling it because I haven’t used it in several years as I’ve gravitated to using my 18” ServoCat driven Dob almost exclusively for observing or mounting my refractors on my Celestron AVX mount. Recently I tested the FTX and it continues to work flawlessly. The 20K encoders are as accurate as your alignment with your chosen DSC. I used the Nexus DSC with spot-on results. Selling for $1750 which includes insured shipping and PayPal fees to mainland USA addresses (Alaska and Hawaii, contact me for shipping rates).
