Subject: Licence Revalidation ?Dear club colleagues,?Ofcom have asked for the help of the RSGB to get the message out, reminding our UK amateur friends and colleagues that their licence requires revalidation at least every five years. Currently?some 45% of amateur licences still?remain to be validated. ? The quickest way to revalidate and which can be done at any time, is to do so “on-line” via the Ofcom website .?If individuals need assistance in the process, Ofcom staff are available to help on the telephone but their limited availability means that the workload needs to be staggered to avoid undue delays.?? ? Ofcom have advised that any licences which remain unvalidated by a date to be agreed, will be considered as lapsed, for which their will be a renewal fee, currently ?20. ?
