Hello Gang,

We are currently off the coast of Nova Scotia about 200miles from Halifax which is our next port of call, we set to arrive today at 4pm local time.........

Much delayed by the storms in the Atlantic and having to divert northwards to allow a helicopter from Newfoundland to 'medi-vac' a passenger. We witnessed a superb piece helicopter flying and extraction by the Canadian rescue service.

We have sea day tomorrow as we head to Boston arriving there on Thursday 10th Oct.

We have had some truly solid contacts on both 12m & 15m to the UK both in CW & SSB between 1500 & 1900 GMT........Also managed to work members of the Halifax radio club running their station (VA1MMA) at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic..........Thanks to a sterling effort by their chairman Gordon VE1GVY and his team.

Today we will be on or near 24.906 and 24.960 with 21.058 and 21285 as a secondary later as 12m closes (after1700GMT)

We are hoping we don't have to dismantle our station before arriving in Boston this all depends on the US Homeland Security.

We will keep you posted as to the situation and progress.
