First time hearing tony With good signal but theres a catch!

Found tony tonight with the reverse network beacon put his call in and found him on 21.048.2 he is always off spot freq? slightly. anyway tried about 5 different sdr recievers from trinidad/bonaire to canary islands including many up the usa coastline . Then bingo i heard him 55 to57 working va3cwt gabe short for gabriel, he told him the name of the ship which of course i had a coughing fit so only got "the spirit of ?? and he was 400miles north of barbados that he was running 5watts qrp with a vertical on board the ship It was the best i have heard him, but i knew there was no conditions to work him from my tx at 21.00 hours. However I called a few times but no answer and i was unable to hear my own signal in the sdr , something i can normally do when conditions are good. The sdr i found him on was kx4az/a in athens Georgia. But you still need to know where he is transmitting if anyone wants to try it late afternoon /evening. so you need to find him on the RNB spotter first ! it was thrilling to read his morse without all the hash and qrm, shame I didnt get back to him today. world of recievers and transmitters is good for finding the sdr across the world . Cheers everyone and Happy new Year.
