3rd harmonic on 2M. Any fixes?

 

I'm using a 817ND as the uplink rig in my satellite station and am getting a large spur at?446.264 when I transmit on 145.952 (for example). I'm still working on measurement/testing but I wanted to see if anyone has this problem and if/how they might have solved it. I've run 2M low-pass and bandpass filters and it is still pretty severe. The problem is that it interferes with the downlink rig tuned about 1MHz down, causing hash noise. Thanks and 73 N1QDQ

The cells are a tight fit in a standard AA holder. The springs aren't strong enough to push the cells to make a good contact at the other end so I pushed them up by hand and secured them with heat shrink sleeping. Not pretty but it works so far.

Power plug for WindCamp battery

 

The charger plug for my WindCamp gold battery for my 817 was damaged by water during Hurricane Ian. ?Does anyone know how or where I can buy a replacement? I don¡¯t need a new battery, just the charging cable.

Dave,

Not sure what your question is. But if you go through the config menu you can set your 817's baud rate.? Default is 4800 baud I think.? The rig control program needs to be told its talking to a 817 at the same baud rate selected and and no parity, 8 data bits and 1 stop bit.

I have an LDG Z11 tuner as well and bought the interface from W4RT called the one touch.? It has a loop through for the data port so that you can use rig control, N1MM logger, etc.? However, I don't think W4RT is still in business.? I have seen used one touch interfaces on ebay and other sites.? It works well.? I can't find W4RT website.
