There should be no problem as long as you note that the voltage at
the ACC jack is always on regardless of whether or not the radio is
on or off, and that the voltage present reflects that of the power
source. If operating on internal battery and the Z-11 is left in the
operate mode, it will drain the battery even if the radio is off.
Also, the Z-11 likes its input voltage to be 11-14 V. In general,
the battery voltage is less than 11 V.
