Bonnie -- thanks for this (and previous) info. The thing I'm a little
concerned about is whether Yaesu will follow in the path of several of their
product introductions and release a product that's not fully baked. My most
recent Yaesu experience is with the VX-150, which turned out to have a
memory problem. Questioned about it, Yaesu admitted that they had known
about the problem in an EEPROM chip. But they shipped the radios anyway and
never issued any kind of bulletin to dealers or consumers. Am I crazy, or
is that an appalling way to treat your customers and dealers? Anyway, hope
springs eternal!
