I have never noticed those before. I have bought quantities of Powerpoles from sellers at hamfests. They said they were genuine Andersons. Now looking at them, I see those A's on the ends.
Using the crimp tool meant specifically for Powerpoles is a must if you do a large number of them. I have probably put hundreds of them on various cables.

The Anderson 45s I have in stock have an A molded into the end of the connector.? If you are looking at the terminal you will see the A just below the terminal.? The SB50 has "Anderson" molded into the body.
