The difference in the 15, 30, and 45 amp power pole is in the size of the wire they accept.? The contact size is the same for all three of these connectors.? The larger wire will in effect wick some of the heat generated at the contact to allow higher current to flow without connector failure.? I keep 30 amp in stock and if needed, you can widen the shell a little to accept #12 or even #10 wire before crimping.?
