The PA is available as a module and is pretty easy to replace, apart
from soldering a few leads you just need to setup the bias with a meter.
Last time i checked here in the UK the board cost ?38 from Yaesu UK and
so not an expensive item and easy to get hold of.
Sounds like it may be a good idea to have a spare one "in case of"...
