Bill Belanger's products on Etsy

FYI, I recently purchased a non DRO fence extension for my KF 700 from Bill's Etsy site.
Received it in just a few days packaged well and in good condition. It fit perfectly without any modifications.
I highly recommend Bill to any of our group for any of his products. It is great to do business with someone who?
is so professional. Thanks Bill!

Since we're on the subject of Bill's store ... is there one of those rectangular to round dust ports available for a Hammer K3/B3? Original hose was lost and I have a makeshift thing in place, but I'd like to get something that captures a bit more dust in there.

I might have made one of those Richard. If you can measure the rectangular part of the port, I can check. Then whatever hose size you need for the round. Unless I’m misunderstanding?something. Unfortunately I’ve been making parts for folks and not documenting what machine ?they are for. My bad…

You might want to add to your Etsy listings the sizes that the adapters fit. Say the rectangular, list it fits over a 30mm x 80mm port and fits a 4” hose on the outside on the round end. That way the customer can measure their machine and be sure they fit.

Hi Bill,

?

One of the things I’m going to ask from you is a “120mm port to 6” hose adapter”.? So that we can quickly connect/disconnect a 6” hose from things like a Felder jointer/planer and edge sander. ?Not urgent because I won’t be able to buy until March 16, but I would want to order two of these.? You’ve got all sorts of adapters, but I’m surprised nobody has asked for this one.

Aaron,

Do you remove the collector hose each time you turn the operation over on the jointer/planer combo machine? ?I was thinking that if you have some extra “slack” in the hose length, that it just flips over to the other side of the machine without having to disconnect each time, no? ?Seems I see people doing it this way, but not 100% certain. Won’t get my combo unit until June, to see for myself. ?

Thx,

Wade

Wade,

?

Yeah, if you have a long enough hose you can do that.? The request is really for the adapter.? These 120mm ports are basically 5”.? I would like to connect a 6” hose to reduce the hose CFM restriction.? Oneida makes a 120mm to 6” sheet metal reducer, but it’s about 14” long (way too long!).

Bill, I would also suggest you specify if a dimension is inside diameter (ID) or outside diameter (OD). ?I was looking at your 80 x 80mm connector wondering just that. ?I’m needing 80mm OD to OD for a hose splice.?

In my experience, it’s a lot more friendly to have separate extractor input hoses for jointer and planer modes on a large combination J/P. ?I hate wrestling with a long unwieldy 6” hose. ?Far easier to have to pickup hoses with a blast-gate on each.
