Re: AD941 dust hose attachment
Well maybe Bill needs to add a right angle adapter to his collection. If it helps Felder offers 120 to 100 straight adapter Art. No. 02.2.021

Re: AD941 dust hose attachment
Habacomike, This was my previous set up with a 15¡± planer and the dust shroud ran right into a 4¡± 90 fitting. Planer is in the background of the photo. It worked great with everything I ran

Re: AD941 dust hose attachment
Brian, It¡¯s a valid point. But I¡¯m willing to try it only because I¡¯ve been running a 15 planer on this same set up for nearly 20 years with no issues. The flex hose runs right into a 6¡± hard

Re: 3 phase power plugs/outlets
?Mark, ¡°A phase convertor manufactures a phase shift, not a voltage change. It takes voltage in that is 180¡ã phased, and shifts to 120¡ã phased, basically by storing electrons for 60¡ã of time,

Wouldn¡¯t a straight connector offer better air flow (less turbulent flow)? That might be important given that your ducting is undersized...

Re: AD941 dust hose attachment
Necking down the dust collection hose on a 16¡± planer is just asking for clogs on a routine basis. I would use 5¡± at a minimum. Brian Lamb blamb11@... www.lambtoolworks.com

Re: AD941 dust hose attachment
? Imran, Thank you. Bill does offer a 120mm to 4¡± hose. See link. But it¡¯s not a right angle. Now if he offered a 120mm O.D. to machine connection, then it curved 90 degrees to an end that

Wade, I use 5¡± spiral with Felder adapter and I assume Bill Belanger adapter does the same. Which ever way you go, just confirm that the hose end matches your requirement. Imran Malik

Re: AD941 dust hose attachment
Imran, Great point about clearing the hose out of the path of outfeed. I¡¯d like to go with the right angle adapter setup, but I¡¯m also wanting to keep my hose size to the 4¡±+ that it is. ?

Re: AD941 dust hose attachment
Hi, sorry, I think I got confused as to which reply tab to select. The right angle connector part number 02.0.020 is a snug fit due to the taper. It is easy to attach or remove from the machine yet

Re: Shortening a bandsaw blade
Agreed on the quality comment, but these guys have been around a long time and are very reputable. They sell a lot to machine shops that need carbide blades for big industrial horizontal bandsaws.
