As usual, it would be better to talk to David sooner.? I didn't do that with my first FB510 which made excessive grinding and clanking noises when adjusting the blade guide assembly up and down.?

What i use is gauge blocks or shaper bushing example 10 mm deep,,,, take 10mm high shaper bushing zero to top dead center and makes no difference what diameter is do same on shaper for height and
